This is nearly a perfect example of a tank line that could literally put someone off playing the game forever. its not really been touched much despite the introduction of some savage tanks at its tier and the incredibly rough nature of the tier 8 heavy brigade it faces off against regularly.

I couldn’t wait to get to tier 8 when I started the game because of the KV2 at tier 6. Now I don’t want to play tier 8 tanks because I might have to deal with the smasher, or the Dracula, or the wz-120 td.

I would play the Comet, the panther, the cent 1 or even the Churchill’s but it gets really tedious with all of the IS3 clones and tds that are as mobile as mediums.

I would like a future game mode that’s permanently on that doesn’t allow premium tanks of any sort so that it’s just tech tree tanks. I know the realistic mode is coming and it offers that but I’m talking just a normal random battle with no premiums, is that too much to ask.

Thanks for the video bushka, this topic opens up so many questions and opinions on the game in general, that’s my 2 cents worth lol.

True...until it ran out of gas or the suspension broke because it was to heavy or you had to fix the boogies/road wheels

I mean look at what happened to the Churchill GC, the Panzer 4 Anko, T37. All of them were great tanks that just got chucked into the collectable tab. Currently, the Panther is like a mosquito that pecks at your enemy’s health until they decide to turnaround and kill you.

I grinded the German line solely for Tiger 1, i remembered i grinded the Tiger P line because it can cross to tiger 1 line.

It was so awesome, very high health pool and massive dpm, when i got mi Tiger 2 i was so damn proud and drive it with proud. Now everyone pens the upper plate like butter, kinda sad

Sadly I doubt that Wargaming is going to stop pumping out fantasy tanks anytime soon. I rentals saw an ad where they promoted the fantasy tanks as their main attraction. :(

I used to play the Panther alot before the Smasher came in. Now I just play the Tigers on the German tech tree.

Powercreep is a real thing for a lot of the tanks that require a more gentle touch. Tanks that sacrifice armour for a great gun get rolfstomped by Russian heavies that get to the same spot as them but within just a second or so later. No point in playing the tanks that require skills it seems, if you care about winrate and stats.

i think it should be moved down to tier 6, with the configuration of the old VK 30.02 M, and it would be historically accurate because it would fight with T 34-85s, some of the KV serie or shermans. They can recycle the model of the VK renaming it in Panther Ausf. D (because it resembled a lot like this early version of the panther), but the problem is the empty slot fotr tier 7

Agreed. I've been playing wot blitz since day 1, and the panther was originally a highly desirable tank. It does need a significant buff. Doesn't stand a chance against todays fantasy tanks (e, g Dracrula, Smasher) and OP TDs.

I've bought Panther 2 days ago and first day I won 1 battle out of 6, although I had 2100 average damage in those battles.
