For shame (on me), I didn't know RouterOS had this feature so I moved from debugging my network with tcpdump to a weird USB3 solution (notebook with 2 gigabit adapters on a bridge) to sniff traffic.

Thanks Guntis!

thank you
but the teacher asked us, can we use a sniffer device between 2 routers with the packet Tracer? And it is better to write the reason, whether it happens or not?

Hello, which layers are in the sniffed packets which are sent to me by the router? Is there L1 layer? Or is the L1 layer replaced by the L1 layer betwenn me and router?

On 03:26, "Perhaps you receive it and do not deliver it, and if that's the case then you now know that the problem is on the router."
that's exactly the problem now I'm facing, and I don't know how to solve that.

You can also just filter for tzsp in wireshark, since that's the protocol used to encapsulate the sniffed traffic

I do this same thing but don't get any data in wireshark, why?
