How TCP Works - MTU vs MSS

In this video we will dig into the difference between the network MTU and the TCP MSS. Both Ethernet and IP MTU's will be explained as well as how the MSS is set in each direction. Demonstrations in Wireshark

In 5:59, it should be pointed that MSS is not a negotiated value in essence between the 2 end points. However, the way Operating Systems implement it and deal with it might differ from the original description in the RFC and choose to work with the lowest MSS value advertised between the 2 sides.
