Bangkok‘s old town is one of the 50 districts and the central district of the world’s most visited city, including Rattanakosin Island.

Phra Nakhon is bounded by the Chao Phraya River to the west, one canal in the north, and another canal to the east. The center of Bangkok, marked by the city pillar shrine is in the district. Some of many notable sightseeing hot spots: Grand Palace, Giant Swing, Wat Arun, Wat Saket, Wat Pho, Democracy Monument, Khaosan Road, Amulet Market, Flower Market.
