Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Patch 1.13 introduced a Glitch for the Wild Strikes Ash of War that can ONE-SHOT BOSSES. It's a bit tricky to pull off, but it can cheese almost any boss if perfomed correctly. Ranni the witch tells you all about it!

FromSoft devs are like really weird alchemists. They create their games using nothing but the finest of spaghetti coding, and by the time we play them the spaghetti has mysteriously turned into cheese.

Aside from the glitch shown here, Wild Strikes is a fantastic all-around AoW. It gives you insane hyper armor while holding l2, which makes you almost impossible to stagger for most enemies, bosses, and players. The R1/R2 follow-ups make it even better with strong physical and poise damage

Also, you can throw this on larger weapons like greatswords and great hammers for a quick and reliable way to deal damage in PvE, with wild strikes having a much faster attack speed than r1 attacks with larger weapons.

If that isn't enough to convince you, it's even useful in PvP. With the hyper armor gained from using the AoW, you can tank hits that would normally stagger you even with very high poise. Countering a strong and telegraphed attack with Wild Strikes + R1 follow-up has led me to win in situations where I usually wouldn't.

I know it's a lot of words, but I can't recommend this AoW enough. It's a main stay on all of my strength builds, and it deserves more attention.

There’s a weird bug that happens in promised consorts fight where if he doesn’t agro you in 2nd phase he’ll walk off and die after a couple minutes
