Rational Function Test for Series

Calculus: Let a_n = P(n)/Q(n), where P and Q are nonzero polynomials. We state a test for the convergence or divergence of the series for a_n. Examples are (a) sum (n^2 + 1)/n, (b) sum n/(n^2 + 1), and (c) sum (n^2 + 1)/(n^4 - 6).
