Also note that some of these are sped up or have frames cut to match up with each other better.

The trick to make it smooth or “flowy” is by adding bounce and extra movement, while also adding in smaller and more frames.
You notice in the kiss scene how amity backs her face away but she looks down first, even when in normal animation she would have just backed away straight (even though she isn’t). This is just a mix of an observation and a hack to other animators

How much I miss Spencer Wan's animation, I love how crumbling things turns into blocks(I really love it sm).The way Luz is drawn is so silly and so cute and how the animation is so smooth(it honestly reminds me of some animes, I kept thinking about ghibli animation for some reason)

The Owl House is the best show to come out of Disney channel ever. This show does what it wants to and does it astonishingly amazingly. The Owl House is not just a show, but an era. I remember the first time I saw this show, it was an ad during a youtube video. I was interested into the show so much, but we didn’t have Disney+ yet. The next time I saw the owl house it was at my nana and papa’s house. Me and my brother were watching Disney channel and Hunting Palisman came on. This is where my official fascination (and my brother’s crush on Hunter began i think) started. Who knew such a simple show like this can become the most amazing, heartwarming, beautiful show I love so much. Thank you Dana Terrace.

I remember when my sister just said "let's watch the owl house", it was around one year and a half ago. I thought it would be just a silly comedy show about a girl who from a nerd has become an immortal witch, like in a simple anime plot. But it is actually way better than I expected, and this is my favorite show now!

1:12 bro can we just appreciate how powerful Eda is? I mean to save Luz she straight up took the planks, quickly rearranging it to catch Luz and then moving it to the other side to catch and roll Luz to safety, and don't forget she did that within less than 5 second

Fun fact: Spencer also animated for castlevania among other cool things :) (also he was on at lease two episodes of drawfee and even did an animation for their castlevania characters in different tv show styles video) he is a very cool dude!
