New long jump world record by para athlete Rehm during Golden Roof Challenge

German Para athlete, Markus Rehm, set a new world record on Saturday when he jumped 8.49 metres in the in T64-category long jump at the 18th edition of Golden Roof Challenge in Innsbruck, Austria.
Rehm's jump earned him his fifth win at the competition.
In the women's long jump, the Ukraine's Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk won the competition with a 6.55-metre jump.
Roberta Bruni cleared 4.66-metre to win the women's pole vault competition, with China's Bokai Huang jumping to victory over a height of 5.70-metre in the men's pole vault competition.
All the competitions were carried out on the largest mobile athletics facility in the world, the 'FlySwat' a multi-purpose facility for pole vault, long jump and sprint events with a total length of 83 meters.
