As a graphic Designer I must learn drawing and I started around 5 months ago now I can draw very good, In my opinion everyone can draw but drawing need. it depend on how match time do you spend, I learned by myself and my suggest is this always work hard and practice.

I have a story to share for all of you trying to do better at portraits. I am one. Also a fine art student. I always liked to draw anime and comic characters with a lot of feel and beauty in their expressions. So far I was happy thst i was able to draw proportionate portraits with slight resemblance. But then my teacher, .... just ruined my self esteem with constantly nagging at my portrait style since I do not enjoy hyper realism and try to make creative characters out of the references. Im having a hard time getting back to being creative again. For all u artists there, portrait art also has its own unique style and art is not about cut pasting the reference. Do your study. Keep in mind the proportions. But don't let your style slip away from you.
