Could you also show how these parallell effects affect your Master level volume? Especially compression. The reason I ask cause when I apply parallell compression to my kicks, it hugely amplifies my overal master volume, which is a pain when I want to make my mixes pre-mastser ready at -6db. Then I have to really lower down the volume of the parallel compressed kicks and then the effect kinda goes away. How do you deal with that?
