Surely it would make ultimate sense to have the same wires for the Stedi button switch.

How do you tap into the dash light circuit that’s what’s not shown

None of these videos ever show how to wire it up to the dash lights

Haven’t found a single video on hooking up to a relay and my switch says it will melt switch if you don’t use a relay.

This video doesn't go into the current Stedi kits. This short coming should be mentioned here.

When you say dash connection for the led, I get it after connecting the other 3 anyway, using the single output harness with the quick connect switch line, what use would connection the 4th (blue cable) be?

tell me if I got this right

Breaking it down:
Ground wire- ground/earth
Dash light wire- 12v car accessory (either park light, tail light, 12v socket) tap something that will give constant light to the switch
Relay wire- [power out] to turn on the light bar when the switch is depressed/turned on
Source wire- [power in]

Question:
Can I connect the "dash light wire" together with the "source wire" with a 3amp fuse in-between?
The idea was for the switch dash light to turn on when the high beams are 'ON' and not when the accessory light is on. But I am not certain if it will work this way.

where do I put the high beam signal? I want my additional spot lights to turn on if I turn on my OEM high beam and the STEDI button is pushed. if the STEDI button is not pushed and I turn on my OEM high beam, the additional spot lights should not turn on.

Where do I tap into accessories so I receive power for the LED?

The heat shrink wasn't even covering the exposed wires? Then u covered it up with tape to hide the potential short

I wired mine as per diagram and left the dash light wire on plug, but it still lights up when spotties are on? Is the dash light referring to the spotlight logo lighting up and not the blue led?

Not even the Stedi video shows you what to do with the dash light and vehicle earth wires. Great.

Bit bodgey i think would prefer stedi light harness just plug into back of the switch job done no cutting of wires & rejoining just bullshit, like been back in the 70s imo
