Here's How you can learn most of the useful Blender shortcut keys, all in one video.

Middle mouse = Pan
ctrl + O = Open recent
ctrl + S = Save
ctrl + N = New file
ctrl + Z = Undo
ctrl + Shift + Z = Redo
N = Opens side bar
X = Delete
T = Toolbar

A = Select All
ALT A = Select nothing
ALT + I = Invert selection

H = Hide
ALT + H = bring it back

TAB = Edit mode
1 Vertex mode
2 edge mode
3 Face mode

0 = camera
1 = Y position
3 = X
7 = Z

G = Move
G + Z = Move on Z Axis
G + X = Move on X Axis
G + Y = Move on Y Axis

G + Z + Z = rotates the object with the objects Axis

Edit Mode:
S = Scale
S + (X, Y, Z) = Scale but only in that direction
I = Insert face
E = Extrude face
C = Circle select
C+ Shift + Click = Select multiple (Faces, vertices)

Z + Viewing mode = That view mode

Object mode:
Shift + D = Duplicate
ALT + D = Duplicates (reduces lag)

Thanks for the tutorial! I can't seem to get the animation parenting to work as demonstrated in the tutorial. It appears the parenting is happening, but the objects are not moving together. Would you know why that might be? Thanks!

Thanks for this great intro to Blender shortcuts.
I have a question... Logic Keyboards has a keyboard with shortcuts for Blender and their letter D has a paintbrush on there, but nothing happens when I press the D on my own keyboard; no paintbrush appears anywhere, no even in a 2D file. Is this an error printed on Logic's Blender keyboard, or am I using the D in a wrong window/mode or with the wrong settings?

how can you get rid off the ugly native move, rotate, and scale and use the regular curso move, rotate circle and scale like maya, max or cinema.. I hate how blender does not have this by default.. thank you in advanced

Some of the shortcuts don't work on Laptop, for example 1, 3, 7 ...for the different views. I've been trying to find out, which one I have to use on my laptop, because there is no numpad. Pleeasse help!

from minute 6:00 to 6:30 I do not like how your are moving, scaling or rotating. because I do not see my cursor.. all I see is a dotted lines and your icon arrows.. how in the hell I get my real cursor to show as MY

could someone tell me HOW IN THE HELL. I CAN CHANGE MY AXIS CURSORS.. I HATE BLENDERS DEFAULT AXIS..
I just want to PUSH fkn "G" and I want my MOVE cursor to be highlighted, just like I want to FKN PUSH "R" and have my Rotate icon to be selected as well as my "S" for scale iceon curson to be selected and I push the FKN S on my keyboard..

I HATE. I FKN HATE BLNDERS way of navigating with their defaul crappy axis cursor.. so if anyone knows how.. pls let me know...
