Baizhu is not meant to be a shielder but a healer. Plus, baizhu's heal really is great with just his elemental skill he can heal all your party member. The thing that I like the most about him is he can actually buff dendro damage (up to 100% damage increase for burning, bloom, hyperbloom, burgeon reaction and up to 50% damage increase in aggrevate and spread reactions) these damage can be obtained at 50k hp.

My Baizhu heals almost 9k. I'm bending over backwords and sucking his violet grass until he can't carry changsheng anymore. Idc if his shield isn't Zhongli lvl. He's sexy.
Edit/update: My Baizhu is still a work in progress, but he does above 10k healing by now. Also, I will not perform any acts of 'chill'. I've waited for his ass for 2 years. I'm very gay for him. :)

This reminds me of one time I was in co op with one of my friends and we were about to fight the boss so that I could ascend my Baizhu when someone came into my world and I asked them if they wanted to help. They asked what it was for and I said its for Baizhu and they said I’m sorry I have to block you now because I hate Baizhu goodbye. That was one of my more interesting experiences with co op.
