Halo 2: How To Do Every Button Glitch & Combo (Works on MCC PC 2020, check description!)

Watching in 2020!? Some quick revisions:
- Every glitch in this video still works!
- My fancy menu doesn't work after the latest changes to annotations (I think it was years ago but it's been a while since I've been on this channel).

If you're trying to learn these on PC, just keep in mind:
- X is now a mix between Reload and Action. Everything still works, but you might have 2 buttons for them, just press the button in context I'm discussing.
- Y is now whatever your Switch Weapons is.
- R is now whatever Shoot is.
- B is now whatever Melee is.

This is a fantastic throwback for anyone who hasn't played in a while, and I must commend you for a very professional presentation.  No unnecessary dubstep, no memes, no flippant jokes, no distractions.  I hope others can notice your discipline in creating this guide, as it's very rare to see such a video nowadays.

By far the best video on this subject. The lead up into the combos as part of smaller cancel combos is just pure genius. It makes so much sense to build them up that way but no one else has done it, shows that you understand these glitches well.

Guys there are two things you *must* know!!!
1. Halo 2 runs at 30 frames per second, Halo 2 Anniversary runs at 60 frames per second, this means the glitches that need to be done fast like the YY will be about twice as hard
2. *None* of these glitches work on the updated maps, they will work on the classic multiplayer, and campaign, but just not on anniversary maps...

for the XY you mentioned it can be useful for when ur caught of guard and wish you had your BR out. This is very true!! but when you mentioned this i also thought about how when u pick up the sword it makes a loud noise and if u do the XY there is no noise animation and people dont see you with the sword as ur primary weapon. These little things make that huge difference!!

Quick reload can also be done in halo infinite by hitting rb before the mag is inserted exactly the same as b x

Great guide man! Just a question about the ammo counter for Halo 2: how come it seems to be inaccurate sometimes? Like at 6:31 on the left side of the screen after reloading normally, you shoot the BR once but it says the counter is 30 instead of 33. Is that because of network, host/off-host, framerate, etc.?

10k matches for me lol I knew just these, all the superbounces, and sword lunge glitch. Even found a few superbounces that almost no one knew of. Halo 2 is and probably will always be my most cherished online multiplayer experiences ever. So much nastalgia.

Another button glitch off host is if you need to reload but don't have time for the animation, throw a grenade and then press X. It should reload without the animation!
