Modeling Chain and Sprocket Mechanism | Chain Sprocket Animation Solidworks | Solidworks Belt Mate | CADable | CADable tutorials

In this tutorial we'll learn how to make chain sprocket animation in Solidworks with design and animation. The tutorial contains parts modeling (inner link, outer link, sprocket), assembly and animation. Rendering is done in Keyshot. I have made chain using chain pattern. It is a basic exercise for beginners and it will be a good practice for beginners. Here, we'll learn these commands and features:

10:58 adding this mate will only allow the sprocket to rotate a little bit until that specific chain link gets to the end of the sprocket. Collision might be a better alternative, will also check out that gear mate you mentioned
