I walk through grand central station every day for work. It's so beautiful and big. I love it.

In 1958 on my way back from Germany while in the army i arrived at Grand Central Station NY and was amazed how big and beautiful it was. I had been in the Frankfurt railroad Station in Germany with it's many train tracks coming in and trains. I was impressed with it. But nothing compared to the New York Central Grand Station in size and beauty at the time to small town country boy from the Midwest.

Having worked on GCT, I've had the privilege of going into the steam tunnels under the tracks, walking on the roof and walking through the loft above the starry ceiling. However there are still many things I don't know about the place!

I have passed by Grand Central Station many times while on vacation in New York. I love the station a lot! It is a work of art!

I think they should move all Amtrak lines from Penn Station to Grand Central since GC is a much more appealing to long-distance travelers. The western tracks at the upper level of the station could easily be connected with the Northeast Corridor and across the Hudson.
