The sound of AC is the most realistic. But it's the sound from the old exhaust, Porsche GT Team changed the exhaust at Le Mans and made the car sound godly. Forza tried to reproduce that godly sound, but it's just a pure fail. GTSport isn't close from the old or new exhaust sound, but I've got to admit it does sound very good, proper flat 6 sound.
Graphic wise, GTSport all the way.

In FM7 the steering wheel doesnt even move past 90 degrees. Thats how much of a "Sim" that is

Tbh Forza 7 sounds terrible. Sounds like the interior of the Porsche is huge with all that echo. Also there is no bass in the sound so it sounds weak and really high pitched.

The FM7 sounds the most realistic here. It's the only one which has a distinct race boxer 6 tone and firing order. The 2017 911 RSR is an insanely loud race car. The scream is piercing irl. Check some WEC videos of it flying by.

Edit: Actually! Before Porsche entered to the 2017 WEC and in some tests during the season, they were running mandatory mufflers on this vehicle. At Le Mans the RSR raced with straight pipes and it sounds very loud and aggressive, just like the FM7 model. AC and GTS are closer to the test units which you can also find videos on(19Bozzy92 channel for example).

1. GTS & assetto they are both awesome and sound very good... assetto might have a slight edge on the echo but That's all everything else seems to be pretty even Very impressed.

Forza 7 has so much echo and reverb. I can't actually tell what the car sounds like, nor can I judge whether it sounds like the car. It sounds like it was recorded in a garage or a tunnel, and the sound beyond 7000RPM just looses the natural effect of a boxer and just kinda transforms into a V8 sound. Assetto and GT both keep the authenticity of the cars sound, especially in the interior. Those two sound like you actually have a helmet on as you should in a simulator, where as Forza sounds like you're literally just inches from the engine. And Assetto sounds like you're hearing the car from a spectators perspective in 3rd person, very unique effect, usually games are like GT Sport where it just captures and simplifies the sound to just the pure engine with very little echo or dynamic to it. It sounds like Forza tried to copy that but failed and it sounds way too dynamic and echoey.

AsettoCorsa sounds cool, but it sounds more like a record of an actual car than a proper sound modulation like in GTS. Turn the Engine Volume Level higher in GTS and you'll have your real sound, really try it out! ( It's possible since a few weeks ). Whatever they did in Forza, undo it, this sounds absolutely like a raped cat.

GT Sport sounds like it's missing a few hundred revs. Are you upshifting at roughly the same RPM in each game?

GTS - 10 (OMG that purr)
FM7 - 3 (IT GOT EVEN LOUDER)

(NOTE: Before anyone calls me a fanboy to GTS or AC, out of all the three I have only played and own Assetto Corsa. I have played countless hours of both AC, GT and FM and these are just my own personal rankings)

Laughing at how Assetto and Forza have their logos on the gloves of the driver... and GT has actual gloves from a real company that I love and have a pair similar to them.
