🧔ABOUT ME
Since I was a kid, I loved exploring into the files of games to see what I could play around with. What changes could be made just for fun. Modding Skyrim brings back that curious kid I was. If I can share that enjoyment of being able to Mod Skyrim, I’d consider myself lucky. There’s a world of Skyrim Mods out there.
Modding. Simplified. Welcome to your Skyrim Mod Guide Library

You can use these together without issue, you just have to get the order of operations right and you have to manually do things.

You're a lifesaver! I was having the exact question, and your video answered it perfectly. The only thing I'm curious to is HOW you get creature animations working if you're using Nemisis.

I beg to differ that it's a no brainer to now use Nemesis. Creature animations are very important in fantasy RPG's lol. I cannot understand why Nemesis cannot animate a small skeleton matrix and only bigger bipedal skeleton matrix. It doesn't add up.
FNIS was always fragile, and Modders often spent hours getting it to work with numerous mods, therefor I am all for it worked across the board. Which it does not.
When it works fully for all animations, then I'll use it.

I got nemesis so I could use skyclimb... that mod is ingenious..

you can use both, just run finis and then nemesis, for me it works perfectly, I've had like a single crash in around 10 hrs of gameplay, but I also have like 300+mods installed so it might not even be a finis vs nemesis related issue.

I'm in a weird position that if I uninstall FINS, my mouse button inputs in-game.

the problem with nemesis engine is the engine itself is still known to cause a bug in where the npc' wont use any melee attack animations. as well as the issue with the player being unable to move during the attack as in the attack animation plays but you are stuck in where you are standing. this issue has been long and possibly deliberately been ignored by the nemesis engine team. and anyone trying to bring it up to them via pm are immediately get banned and sometimes kicked out of nexus.

I wish I could agree with the people who say "Nemesis is great." But Nemesis is such a pain for me. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Mine loves to get stuck at 99% when I launch the engine. I've looked everywhere to see what I am doing wrong and nothing. To be honest I am thinking of giving up on Nemesis and animations which makes me sad. Which sucks cuz I'm trying to upgrade my combat system.. but I can't..

Thanks for the breakdown between the two, but the ultimate question isn't really answered: WHY should Nemesis be used over FNIS? Less CTD's? Better performance (especially with lots of animations)? And the question that everyone really wants to know, does Nemesis play well with mods from the Lab of Lovers? :^)

Nemesis full of bugs. Last time i tried it was like back in 2021.. I'll give it another go.
You're part of the new set of youtubers ans modders that are pushing nemesis as you are all part of the same team.

So I have both installed and everyone is A-posing. How do I fix this?

I have issue with XP32, the only way I could get my character not getting Tpose animation was to install XPMSSE instead, though I don't
have XPMSE showing on MCM.

I truly appreciate all the work these people do for the game, and basically for free. But the one thing I hate is that, it is all disjointed. First you need an engine, then you need to download the framework, then you need three separate files, each one of them around 300kb in size, which I find ridiculous, then you need the actual animations, but these animations make the need for a dodge roll a necessity, but dodge rolls are their own separate mod. In my case SkySA has no compatible dodge rolls except for Ultimate Dodge roll which is not in the nexus, it is on some google drive download, because of some controversy.

Again, I don't want to seem ungrateful or entitled, but they seriously need to try to consolidate everything, merge everything in one single download, with all the basics included so people can just choose their animations.

So dose nemesis have a mod limit as I like to set a lot of animations to skyrim and have recently got mco to work so I've been adding a lot of animation mods but now my skyrim ctd when I try load a save is this because I have to many animations as with fnis I was able to hold a lot more than what I have now.
