How To Stop Opera GX Browser From Opening Multiple Tabs On Start Up

Learn how to disable Opera GX from launching multiple tabs on start-up.
When browsing, you might have accidentally closed your page on Opera GX. Or if you want to begin browsing, you find that multiple tabs are open on your browser.
Sometimes this impacts the speed of your computer. You can disable this easily on your browser.

Go to 'Settings'
Scroll down to the 'On startup' subheading
Uncheck the 'Retain tabs from previous session' setting

this doesnt actually help me cos I wanted to still have those same tabs but I didnt want them to instantly load in when I load up the browser

anyone know if i can disable opera from making a new start up page when condensing tabs? say i have two windows and i pull one tab to the main window it just leaves a startup page beind after moving it to the main window

idk if you'll see this but whenever I press ctrl it opens a new tab and it's getting quite annoying and I don't know how to stop it from doing that
