Is Pastor Dan Wallace part of the either OT or NT editorial committee of this translation?Can you find out for me how they translated Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23 is it virgin or young maiden or woman like RSV?Thanks in advance for your reply.

The NET Bible discusses a minority of the actual manuscripts that actually exist. Some of these manuscripts, which contradict Westcott-Hort ideas, are often not even mentioned. For example, regarding Acts 8:37, which is in the TR and is omitted in modern versions because it is not found in Codex B and most Greek manuscripts, is found in a Coptic manuscript (Codex Glazier) which predates the Latin Vulgate. According to the Westcott-Hort thesis, this verse should not be in a Coptic manuscript of this antiquity- but it is. It is not surprising, therefore, that Codex Glazier is not discussed in the NET Bible. Like other modern versions, the NET Bible is based on the secular-scientism approach to the Bible. As a product of this secular mindset, I find the NET to be a fascinating work of secular-minded scholarship, and it is certainly of interest- on that basis. As a SACRED text for Christians as the "Holy" Bible, the NET Bible is completely without merit.
