Rava Ladoo Recipe:

Rava - 1 Cups
Sugar (Powdered) 1 Cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp + ¼ Cup
Cashew Nuts (chopped) - ¼ Cup
Raisins - 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - ¼ tsp

Cooking Instructions:

1. Pulse blend the rava in a mixer grinder to make it fine.

2. Lightly roast the cashew nuts and raisins in a tbsp of ghee and remove.

3. In the same pan, Lightly roast the rava, until aromatic but colour should not change.

4. Add the semolina and cashews along with the other ingredients except for the ghee in a bowl.

5. Heat the remaining ghee and pour over the mixture.

6. Mix thoroughly.

7. Press gently and form into lemon-sized laddoos while the mixture is still warm.

Cooking Tips:

1. Blending the rava is an optional step, if more crunch is desired, do not blend the rava.

2. Handle the mixture while it is still warm. Do not compact the laddoos too much, handle them with gentle hands.

3. If the laddoos do not form, lightly roast the mixture again, add another tbsp of melted ghee and form the laddoos.
