Things you might not know about Hungary ! After World War One, when the dual monarchy of Austria-Hungary collapsed, Hungary lost more than two thirds of it’s territory and half of it’s population, parts of Hungary being annexed by Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes, Romania and Czechoslovakia. Today, Hungary borders 7 countries: Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, and Ukraine. Hungary has a population of 9.71 Million people and a GDP of 181,8 billion dollars. It’s capital is Budapest, one of the four capital cities that Danube river flows through. Although is a landlocked country, Hungary has the largest lake in central Europe.
