I remember the song Two of Hearts! That was the song Kim Fields tried so hard to sing while at her Broadway audition.
That is until she met and made friends with an aspiring star named Cinnamon, played by guest Stacey Q. Of course, Tootie had to give her #316 to Cinnamon, and SHE performed her Hearts song at the end.
It’s been 36 years since I watched The Facts of Life, and I still can’t believe that Two of Hearts would jump from pop radio to NBC so quickly.
Kim Fields and Stacey Q’s partnership resulted in a follow-up episode later.
