NASA delays Artemis 2 AGAIN! SLS cancelation is practically guaranteed!

So, a few hours after I released a video arguing that sticking with SLS, for now, is the best way to reach the Moon sooner, NASA announced that Artemis 2 has been delayed AGAIN!
If these people think that their new bosses are going to keep putting up with "space is hard" they are woefully mistaken!

2050 - “NASA just delayed Artemis 2 for 2051…”

We all know that if Artemis Project were in good administration hands it would have been ready long time ago and the cost would have been way lower...

At this point SpaceX is gonna personally land on the moon and set up a refuelling station before SLS is even ready...

On another bright note, looks like the incoming NASA Administrator could make a rescue mission re-boot for Hubble a reality!

They’re gonna be so thorough and safe that they’re not gonna go…

It's like your mechanic telling you there is a "issue" with your automatic transmission and you'll need to keep it below 45 mph for the next 238, 900 miles. Works for me --- Thank you for the video. You RoCk!

The window for getting to the moon as fast as possible has long since past.
NASA had limited resources and one launch every two years with a Frankenstein moon rocket isn't going to cut it.
Too many resets...
All they had to do was a basic moon landing.
A repeat of Apollo and go from there. Too many fancy features to the point of throwing away reusable RS-25 engines with each launch. All they had to do was reverse engineer Apollo and save weight with current technology.
No orbital refueling or moon space stations. Waste...

There is no way in Hell they will land people on the moon in mid 2027 (2.5 years from now). No way….

Let's face it SLS and the Artimas programme has been heading for cancellation because NASA really can't justify the costs with all of the cost plus contacts eating money like it was candy.
The launch tower, the new one that's needed is over budget by millions and from what I gather not going to be ready.
As for the Orion, a Boeing item yet again that has heat shield problems and probably won't be ready for 2 until at least 2026, again a cost plus contract?
NASA has become the politicians kicking ground... If they want us back on the moon - cough up the dough to do it properly for a start. Stop using legacy companies that charge more - starliner is the biggest example.

I was working on Orion and gave a presentation about it to one of my kids ELEMENTRY SCHOOL Classes (what do your parents do day)… He is now a Junior in COLLEGE… and it’s still getting delayed. Unbelievable.

[sigh]
It's sad this is how far NASA (and non-SpaceX contractors) have fallen.

Remember that whole argument I made about SLS already being ready to go.... nevermind

NASA and the FBI should look into criminal charges while examining the books for ARTIMES. The builder had to be overcharging for overtime.
If the builder is cleared, than surely the subcontractors were.

Even the animation doesn't take itself seriously.

So NASA says that 9 months(!) isn't enough time to calculate a new trajectory for re-entry? 🙄

No sense of urgency for sure 😴

Wow it’s starting to look more and more like Elon was right about HLS not being the limiting factor for Artemis 3.

They need 7 months to figure out a slightly different trajectory? I want back the 60s/70s engineers with their slide rules!
