I love seeing cops that take time to show that they are real people, earning respect without badge/force.

Honestly I love seeing public employees, cops, firemen, ems, etc interacting with the community in uniform. We have an annual charity baseball / softball tournament in my area, the entire fire, police force, and ems crews all show up in Uniform, in the hot Texas sun to play. They're all usually on duty / on call, and have bailed in the middle of a game because something comes up.

Those people dont get paid enough, they don't get enough respect, and most of them are just normal everyday people trying to do good for others.
