Grubi definitely has been struggling playing behind an inconsistent defensive team. He does let in some soft goals. I didn't agree with Sakic letting him leave because Grubi wanted a long term contract which Sakic wasn't going to give him. Hopefully he finds his groove.

It's so funny that there were a bunch of good goalies available for Seattle to take and they leveraged it all on Grubauer and an unproven (and now injured) Dreidger despite all the underlying stats showing he was the beneficiary of a stacked Colorado team in the regular season last year. He was also pretty suspect in the playoffs.

Drafted such a trash team in Seattle... had quality goalies to pick and then overpay an poach a goalie lol they could have had a big young d in Logan Stanley but overpay oleksiak who is trash compared to Stanley and could have had tarasenko who has 19 points in 24 games.

Good fans for not booing Grubauer. He's one of the few positives that this team has and they are wearing him out because management didn't know how to put a good team together in front of him and coaching doesn't seem to know either.
I don't think Seattle deserved or deserves a NHL team with the other problems they have in that city, but money rules and there are enough people with money still left in and around Seattle to fill up the stands...so far.
