Joe Pavelski of the Dallas Stars is a class act. The Stars may have had a comfortable lead, but it's is still awesome to see this kind of respect between players and goalies.

That's classy...EVERY SINGLE time a goalie makes a stupendous save, the player should openly congratulate the goalie. Awesome!

From a college hockey player to a late round pick to a a guy who was only second to Ovi in goals scored across multiple years and captain of a NHL team. Pavs is a great human being and 1 hell of a underrated player. As a sharks fan it doesn’t surprise me to see his sportsmanship here. We miss him. We love Jumbo and Patty but the big pavelski is just something special.

When you get had, nothing wrong with giving a little show of respect. Love seeing that

I met Joe at a random gas station in Dallas. I nonchalantly told him who I thought he was. He smiled, told me that it was him, AND stopped what he was doing to talk to me for about 5 minutes. The man is pure class and I am fan for life because of it. Went out and bought a Pavelski jersey the next week. I didn’t ask for anything from him. He straight up offered me a handshake and a picture with him. First ballot hall of Famer in my opinion.

openly giving props to the opposing goalie sure is easier when your up 5 - 2 with 7 seconds left in the third. Still, good sportsmanship all around. Sometimes there is nothing left to do but to give the goalie props

I remember watching a soccer game, US vs Brazil. Romario was my favorite striker at the time. He keyed up a wide open shot inside the 18, but Kasey Keller made a legendary save. Romario just looked at him bewildered and shook his hand. Love seeing respect among competitors.

This is what I love about the relationships between us in goal and those shooting at us. Always the mutual respect to admire a great save or a great goal

I wish players did this more. Give credit where credit is due. Good sportsmanship too!

High level save, moving one way then having to push back to the same side. I use to play goalie and when your in the zone, adrenaline pumping, non stop saves. You get home and can't sleep due to the massive adrenaline dump. One of the best satisfying feeling in the world.

Sometimes you just gotta acknowledge a great play, even if you’re on the opposing team. Love to see it 😊

He's a great guy, and a great player who grinded his way up from the bottom, I was so pissed when San Jose signed ek65 to 11.5 mil and let Pavelski go to Dallas for like 5... No way in hell Karlson is worth more than double Pavelski.

Reminds me of Ovi with Price. These moments make me happy and take the unnecessary animosity out of sports.
