CraftsMan Double Duty Hex/Pipe Adjustable Wrench Review

This could have had potential if it was not so poorly made and hideously executed. The reversible jaw is a feature for you to loose the jaw and have to toss the wrench.

I bought one of these with a gift card given to me for my retirement had no idea how to use the serrated side of this wrench, thanks for the info

Its meant to be pulled towards the loose jaw, like you would do with a pipe wrench. The way you did it would loosen the grip, like a pipe wrench would do if pushed in the wrong direction. Try the pipe again with a pipe wrench and watch which way gets tighter and then try the crapsman again.

I bought one of these it's a Pittsburgh Pro that I got from Harbor Freight.. it actually works really well... flip that thing over and you can twist pipe together or hang something there if you want to...works nice.... I've had it about 10 years... The Pittsburgh pro does have deeper better teeth and it also came with a couple smooth plastic coverings to put over the jaws to have non marring effect on surfaces...

I've got something similar. It's a Crescent brand that has the reversible jaws but it also has a passthrough socket wrench on the back end. It seems to be a good little backup "do it all" wrench.

Craftsman fan... but these days I tend to surf flea markets and second hand shops for US made “chrome” Craftsman hand tools

Its basically a poor copy of an Irega brand wrench made in Spain and also sold under the Matco tools brand on the truck
these are of very high quality and work extremely well!

I think that they could have made 2 separate replaceable jaws, interesting tool.
