I love reading on my Mini and I think Apple is missing an obvious marketing opportunity by not pairing the idea of using the Mini, Apple Pencil and Books for reading. It would further make sense that they add the ability to mark up eBooks directly on the pages of the book itself, like Kobo has figured out on their app. Sure seems like MANY in the book community would go for that...I know I would! Hot tip: the 6th gen mini's are on huge sale today I noticed on Amazon.

You can also reduce the white point increase the contrast and use classic invert, you can program this as a triple button action, that way you don’t need to go into settings all the time.

One more setting to add
Accessibility -> Display & Text size -> Reduce White point.... This is to reduce the intensity of white light.. and having matte screen protector can give you almost e-ink display like feel

Hopefully they have the option to lock screen (disable touch screen) like in Netflix lock mode, so we don't accidentally turning the page. I read with my kindle device because of that disable touch screen fuction.
