FIXED! SD Card Won't Snap in Place or Stay In? TRY THIS!!

If your sd card won't snap in place, lock or stay in the sd card slot then may be you need to push it in even further. In the past few years i have had several devices where I had this issue. And today was my new dash cam but problem now solved! Hope this helps!

You actually literally just may have helped save a life, five years after you posted this!  

I was desperately hoping my amazon package with the micro sd would arrive in time before needing to record an anticipated episode of abu$e, and it arrived in time, so I was relieved at first, but I became frantic that the card would not stay in the slot...

I wasn't able to drive to go buy one and I thought I was basically doomed today...

I came to do a quick search to see if I was doing something wrong, and sure enough, I was being too gentle with the sd card! I took my keys, just like you said, and the card stayed in beautifully!

THANK YOU. I bought the Witcher 3 on my Nintendo Switch. It told me I didn’t have enough storage but I thought I could just archive some software because I had a lot. Thanks for your help. I purchased a new dash cam. I could get it formatted by pushing it in but as soon I I released the card it would pop out and not be read. Your short video allowed me to see the error of my ways. I get to install the rest of the system tomorrow because you made this vid. Nice!

Dude!!! My friend! Thank you for this fix! It worked, on a DOSS Traveler bluetooth speaker that I own. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I mean, did I get the wrong kind of sd card for the speaker? I just didn't understand why the card wouldn't snap all the way in by just pushing with the finger.
