I just made my sweet potato casserole, cranberry salad, dressing and my roll mix for Thanksgiving. I always try to get as much done ahead of time that I can and this year I am following a schedule that I made for myself. We will see if it helps with the craziness! Happy Thanksgiving!

Amazing timing of this video...I was struggling with how to prepare mashed potatoes ahead of time and now you've given me my answer. :o) I made my cranberry sauce with orange juice today. I've never made it with cinnamon sticks before...I'll try that next time.

I love mashed potatoes! I’ve cooked the potatoes and will pull the container out to make Thursday morning. My dinner - a friend of mine in Colorado overnighted 2 dozen homemade tamales! Eating two and tortilla chips with salsa.

I usually make homemade cranberry sauce every year - the past few years I have experimented with adding chopped apples and oranges to mine, and it's so yummy!

Foam containers are banned in NYC they can’t be recycled. We recycle as much as we can. Paper, glass, plastic, cans etc. We use the plastic containers and when they get worn into the recycling. Thanks for sharing your recipes they look good!

I am the first to comment!! We save the to-go containers from Chick-Fil-A salads. We make are mashed potatoes the same way. That was some great tips to get the guest room ready for the guest. My Mom makes a rice and ground sausage with cranberries that is really good to eat. Have a good one!!!! PS: Happy Almost Turkey Day !!!!
