Working on electronics I’m always looking for the next smallest micro ratchet. I made it 53 seconds in before I ordered it from Amazon

Wow. Finally found a YouTube that has the same interest of cool little tools like I do.... 👍

I picked up the Klein Tools 65200 set around this time last year to add to my EDC belt pouch and it has come in super handy. It's not nearly as small as this one, but the finger ring helps a lot in tighter spaces. The included bits can fit into seriously tight spaces, and adding a standard quick-change bit holder transforms it into my go-to screwdriver around the house 👍

I bought one of those sometime last year. I thought it was really nice as well. I haven't really used it as I usually forget I have it.

Nice video. Thank you. Quick FYI, all it's going to take is some uninformed TSA agent to measure your tool in a partially opened configuration that is over 7" to lose your tool. I've lost 2 full size bladeless tools so far while travelling for business. Had to rework my tool kit to use smaller options. Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else, but that's my experience. Cheers!

Victorinox SwissTool Ratchet Wrench is about as small as you can go for close quarters wrenching. It takes a few orders of the extra short hex bits to cobble together a set of bits for those screws that are almost impossible to have access to.

I think I've commented before on the leatherman ratchet that I'm not a fan of attatching stuff to the leatherman just because. Complicates a small tool without actually saving space.

But this is a decent improvement. Usable without the leatherman, but it's there if you need more leverage.

Sold me on it the moment it clicked into your leatherman! Thanks!

....got one.... and an excellent addition to my modified (Bit exchanger & pocket clip) Knifeless REBAR. I also got some SOG Powerpint 3D printed blade opening tabs from the same company (allows one handed opening).

Doc, you constantly cost me money!

I can only attribute my subscription and eagerness to see the next tool as a character flaw. And while flawed, at least I’m well equipped.

The 711L tool is an interesting accessory for the Leatherman, which makes you wonder why Leatherman didn't come up with the idea themselves.

A couple months ago a guy I was working with bolting together a steel frame building, had a socket head that snapped off the handle, he carried in his pocket. He could use it to tighten nuts in difficult places.

I assebled few cabinets using LM Skeletool's bit driver placing handle on 90°. That way you can apply lot of force on bits, I think much more than tiny rachet.

I have one. It just arrived a couple days ago. It’s cuter than a little ol’ speckled pup.
I haven’t had occasion to use it yet but I know it’ll come in handy.

Would you happen to have a video where you take the blade out and replace with the spacer or another tool? I'm having the same problem as I fly a lot and really want to take my Leatherman with me but can't.

I had ordered: P.I.T. Impact Rated Hex Socket Driver. it's a nice 711L stand in until you can get your hands on a 711L ratchet. The P.I.T. comes with a fixed box wrench on the ratchet handle. My plan was to saw that off and mill the handle down to the Leatherman propitiatory flat 1/4" hex driver size.

Have you seen the Topeak TT2524 Ratchet Rocket Lite DX Tool? It's designed for cyclist. I removed the specialized plastic bike tool and managed to fit a Knipex 87 01 125 in it. Both available from Amazon.

some SOG have the 1/4 hex driver built into the back of the cogs in the pliers, to be used when the tool is closed. pretty sure its on one of yours.

But do the flat Leatherman bits also fit? I find that most other 1/4” wrenches won’t accept these flat bits very well.
