Yes, thanks for including the button press for unlocking, that also works for the EV6 if you got the handle pop-out pack or a (usually fully featured) GT Line. But it seems like development was carried out only on fully featured EV6s; if you miss that button (on driver/co-driver side), then you must use the emergency key.
