If you think aircraft nerds are weird, wait until you meet the train enthusiasts :)

It's worth remembering that China couldn't manage to make a ballpoint pen all by itself until 2017.

The plane flew back home at a low altitude later in the day because it was having a cabin pressure issue. This was attributed to problems with the engine air bleed system that normally taps outside air, using engine power runs a compressor to pressurize the outside air for feeding into the cabin. There is an internal backup system that can produce a normal cabin pressure at up to 20, 000 feet altitude, and this was the lower altitude reported for the return flight,

Commercial aircraft take 3 to 7 years of testing and certification before they’re ready for passengers. This Chinese one, they claim 100 hours of flight testing. Some difference.

In fact, the plane did not pass the safety requirements set down by US, European and International Aviation Organisation. If the plane keeps in flying in this way, it is a matter of time there is accidents happening to the the plane.

I feel sorry for the people that fly that thing when it eventually goes down.

Uh, hello? We have already seen hundreds of *Chinese Manufactured and Branded* electric bikes and cars either going up in flames or abandoned to rot.
I would *NEVER* ride any vehicle China made.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Crashing that imitation is the sincerest display of incompetence.

Main difference for a aircraft enthusiest in China and those in most other nations is that criticising a Chinese plane in China might get you a one way ticket to a re-education facility. After all criticising any product they have is insulting the party -_-.

Breaking news made China is still made in China

Apparently there was a problem with bleed air from the engines, meaning that only the APU (located in the tail) was available to maintain cabin pressure.

And the CCP still needs to figure out how to make all the parts work together without the components they still can't figure out or are unaware of 😂

It would have to be the last plane out of Afghanistan for me to considering boarding one of those!

Somewhere I heard they had a problem with the cabin pressurisation and they had to fly back below 7000 feet because of oxygen and no passengers.

Boeing, as part of a deal with china to buy their planes, had some parts manufactured in china and shipped back to Seattle for installation. They took the entire hatch fabrication line from the Seattle shop, all the machines and tooling, and gave it to china. Boeing personel went to china and installed the production line and trained the chinese workers. When the first hatches got to Seattle, they were unusable. Incorrect rivets, rivets in crooked, wrong size holes, hatches not fitting the frames correctly, etc. Boeing quietly threw them away, rebuilt the production line in Seattle, and built new hatches. The same with insulation panels. A friend told me that they actually found a rat carcass in one. Again, Boeing threw the chinese junk away and replaced them with US made insulation. I sure as heck wouldnt fly in a chinese built aircraft if they cant even sew together n insulation mat.

They can't even fly a Boeing or Airbus without crashing

Shows how much trust they put in the plane if the officials don't even want to board it for the flight 🤣
