Premiere Pro This project contained a sequence that could not be opened, preview presets missing FIX

If Suddenly your Premiere Pro project has stopped working and started showing the error :

"This Project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No preview Preset File or Codec could be associated with this sequence type."

and instead of trying all the methods it's still creating the same issue then here are couple of Methods you can try to Recover it.

Among which the First One is pretty much common (and you would have already tried it earlier that's why you are here i suppose) which is why i haven't wasted much of my time on it

AND

The second one is Rare, Easier and Works for almost every one..

2nd METHOD :

i) Open the project file in a text editor (e.g. Windows Word pad), and

ii) Replace all instances of "I-Frame Only MPEG" with "Microsoft AVI".
[TIP : USE FIND AND REPLACE TOOL IN WORD PAD , OTHERWISE FINDING THEM INDIVIDUALLY WILL BE DIFFICULT ]

[NOTE: Make sure you type them correctly , you can copy them from here too]

**YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRY FIRST METHOD. I WILL ADVICE YOU GUYS TO DIRECTLY JUMP ONTO THE 2nd METHOD.**

Method 2. absolutely. I was sprucing up my videos for a presentation at the state conference when I got the error message. Furious with the randomness of the timing of this error. Pure Genius! I've been fighting this Every time I tried to open Premiere Pro CS6, First method solved it, thank you!!
Edit: Cure 1 worked for a day just like Gaurav said it might in the video, 2nd method is still working !

One more step should be added to Method 1.
After the files appear in the Timeline, go to the Project menu, select a Sequence (highlight it) and open Sequence Settings.
Don't change anything, just hit OK. Ignore warning about losing Previews.
Repeat for every Sequence file.
If you don't do this, your project will not reopen.

I think it's worth mentioning that not everyone's preview codec defaults to "I-Frame Only MPEG". So the bit you must look for is random characters*\I-Frame Only where the "I-Frame Only MPEG.epr" can be something else. Better open a workin file and check what codec is your default
