Thanks for the STL files ! They opened just fine into my (ancient) copy of Cinema4D.
By the way the Andonstar AD407 is on sale on eBay at the moment for under £50! I expect they won't last long before selling out, I got mine brand new for £39.99 !!

I've followed all this for my Andonstar AD409 Pro but used the Aokeo AK-49 stand from Amazon. Seems to work well but its not a sprung arm so we'll see over time if a locking arm bothers me too much. Appreciate the 3D parts, had a forum lad print them for me and worked great. Just waiting on an M2.5 screw and nut to finish her off but sure beats the daft stand. If you ask me, Andonstar really need to up their game when it comes to articulating boom arm solutions. Thank the lord for the community spirit.

Excellent video mate! I need to get the parts 3D printed (have same microscope) - what do you recommend regards the types of plastic used etc? I am just going to order the mounting parts for the camera and not the wall bracket.

Thanks for the video and realising your hard work. I'm a bit confused how the actual microscope holder mounts to the boom arm.

I have an Elgato wave arm high rise boom arm, it came with a 3/8 adapter.

I don't understand how this Mount secures onto the 3d printed part, as the bottom doesn't have a hole? Only the top bit so it looks like its just floating.

Rather than allu foil on the ring, paint it white as that will give you a more diffuse light bounce.
