Ruben Amorim explains how he feel about his team and the way that they approached his system after just three sessions.

‘We have two ways. We can forget about the new ideas and the things I use to do it, and next year at the same stage, we’ll have the same problems. Or, we start now, we risk a little bit, we suffer a little bit but then next year, we will be better at this point. We have to risk it a little bit.’

I am a Sporting supporter. Amorim joined our club in the middle of the season and we managed to go from 3rd place to 4th place. It was a hard blow of course but we understood that things take time and that the system beforehand was so weak that the players were not fit for the new system, as well as not had the time to learn posession, and transition.

After that, on the next year we won the league, it wasn't pretty and the team wasn't good yet, particularly how deep the bench was (we had to use alot of youth players). He was lucky, i'm honest.

The next season we did poorly, the stubbornness (which he admitted later on) made him not spend money and resources on a good striker so we struggled with goal making, we had alot of chances, our possession was impressive, but we just couldn't strike.
He learned his lesson and last season we invested resources and had a great team, with a flawless league championship. This year we have such a great team, such a great system and the players are fluid, they know what they need to do without even thinking too much.

These things take time and i am sure he will succeed if you give him time and confidence. Man United will need newer players for the idea that he wants (especially central backs with alot of technique in passing - most of our goals came from passes that completely torn the defense line). I saw the comments and the sporting fan’s were like this, when today if you ask them for the happiness, the football that they have and the trophies, u will be surprised. I am FC Porto fan, and I am happy because he left the Sporting 😂 I wish him the best, he deserves, he will be one of the best in United, give him 3/4 months. And next year, you will win trophies

Man Utd need to replace all midfielders and strikers with players that have finishing scoring rate 100%. Current Man Utd squad are very poor with long distance shoot accuracy, poor freekick taker, poor one on one scoring, poor one touch volley, poor narrow angle scoring... all poor. THESE PLAYERS DOESNT DESERVE TO PLAY WITH MAN UTD. They are wasting all these opportunities God giving to them. They are not self improve players. They cant dribble more than one player.. they need 10 chances to score one goal, they cant handle pressure, they cant read their teammates, they cant predict where the ball will land, they dont have team work to diffuse opponent key players, they are not communicating, they dont have real CAPTAIN, the captain are not having ambition with the manager and non of the players respect him, non of current Man Utd players reach World class level, most of them are at the top of amateur level just about to reach the professional level which makes them division 1 Alpha team but not premier league Top team. BEING MAN UTD MANAGER will be the most difficult job ever exist in a football world where you must win with a level 1 players. The owners are looking forward to make money instead of making the team strong. Hope there is no possibility of Man Utd owner place bet on opponent team to make money.
