I bought an old iron from Goodwill ( thrift) and use it on cool settings to press in a good fold!
Works after design is finished!

As I am hopeful that it is clear and this it does not smudge or bleed when you have applied ehe medium over it while affixing tissue papers....this is what I see you are successful in achieving.
