I have no idea who Nikki Stringfield is. But Kurt is also the reason I learned to play and sing, by watching his hands and singing along. I had the "k" tattoo as a subtle tribute when I was 16.

Chad Channing should have been included in the HOF, he did play on most of their debut album, but I guess they wanted to avoid "band drama"...

Awesome videos and channel! As someone who was born in 1977 I was lucky enough to experience Nirvana right at the beginning of my high school years. Grunge instantly became the soundtrack to my life and Nirvanas music played a huge role in that. After hearing Nirvana I realized you could write powerful music that was very simplified compared to what I had normally listened to. At the time there were rumblings going on in the music scene but once Nevermind was released the dam broke and the cultural shift was unstoppable. It was such a night and day change to the musical landscape that it was almost shocking. I think Tom Petty was quoted saying that Nirvana was the most significant thing to happen to music since the Beatles. There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s right about that.

I was born in 1986 i missed the bands live shows. I don't remember seeing the news that Kurt passed away. I have all the bands studio albums on CD, and vinyl record, the singles, two live albums, reading 1992 dvd/CD combo, With the Lights Out. All the official live dvds. Live Paradiso 1991, Live Paramount Theater 1991 cd those are bootlegs but sound great. The reason i enjoy Nirvana is for the same reason their music is raw, real it has great guitar hooks, lyrics, melodic singing. The energy the vand put off during the live shows was incredible. I would like to see some more Nirvana releases in the future more b sides alternate mixes and live footage.

I was gone in 1978. It is so eerie to hear a part of my life dissected as history LOL.

I was listening to a punch of music I had to discover rock on my own because I grew up in a Christian household. So I was listening to everything from Nirvana, to crash mode, two cigarettes, 2XTC to Buddy Guy.

I remember at the time, there was almost gets Nirvana fatigue in the air. People were kind of getting tired of Nirvana and Pearl Jam was becoming a lot more popular.

Because of Kurtz ‘s gift, he became instantly transformed into an ascendant hero! I don’t know why this happened, cryptic. Guess which point it out in a book by Chuck close German that was written about 10 years ago.

Sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense, I’m using horrible voice dictation.

Love and light

1:39 that’s cause Nirvana is extremely Melodic. The melody comes from his voice.

To hear Dave, Krist, Pat and Chad. If Chad sang for would be amazing for some old work I don’t think they should put out new stuff. Leave it as is. Play some old songs on a tour.

Some say at least they were alive when these great artists were alive, and here is me who missed being even alive by 8 months

Anyone who actually grew up in that time knows Nirvana was poser rock at its best. And watching some 90s babies obsese over them still makes me laugh but rock on posers your so original and creative lol

OH DEAR, she was so inspired she got the tab book, says it all really. If you're a real musician, what's so hard learning Nirvana from the source??
