Yes, I agree with not saying you are nervous, I've never thought about saying it even though I do get bad anxiety. Hey, we are all human and I think everyone is nervous, it's only natural. But yes don't say it, they'll see it anyway. Just be yourself. A little trick I've done recently in the last couple interviews is I take a Melatonin gummy about a half hour before the interview. It really relaxes me, I know they are for sleep, but it also has a great calming effect, and I don't actually get sleepy.

I said “I’m nervous and excited” in the interview, my interviewer said that’s good to know - shows that you care about this. If you weren’t feeling anything, I’d be disappointed. I don’t have the job yet but let’s see.. also important note this was an internal interview - in the same company in another region, so these people already know me.

Edit:
I didn’t get the job, but not because I said I was nervous but they were looking for someone with a more technical experience.
