[Why series] Earth Science Episode 9 - The Motion of the Moon

There are two celestial bodies that illuminate the sky above the Earth. The Sun lights up the sky during the day, and the Moon shines gently at night. Today’s topic is the Moon, the light that shines at night.

@ 7:01 - the video talks about the sun's annual motion - and it shows the sun going around the earth? Why is that?

7:17 why is the Sun rotating around the earth? It still isn't making sense to me. I have a lot of questions about this.

Question: How does the moon rotation on its own axis and orbit around earth affect the movement of shadows on the moon. For example, at what speed do the shadows change on the moon compared to Earth. Let's say you placed a stick on earth you can see the shadow changing fairly quickly. How different would the same take place on the moon?

I actually came here just to understand the sidereal motion of the moon which is essential for Loona's lore or rather the Loonaverse. Don't mind me

The moon doesn't rotate, it acts more like a rock on a string.

I wish I could find the answer to this: what path over earth does the moon take? Is there a pattern? Is it different every month? If so, why? Is there a resource that will tell me what path the moon will take each month?

perfect,
i asked my teacher, why we don't observe eclipse every month as he said they're in one plain?...he couldn't, even in science exhibition they show false model
