Since the wool is already felted you could cut a slit in the back of the neck and add a button and loop closure and she could still wear it. The color is beautiful

Hi Laura, I’m watching all your podcasts, thank you so much for sharing your stories. I also wanted to say: thank you for sharing what doesn’t work for you. It is so intimidating as a beginner how ‘perfectly’ made everything seems in those podcasts. It feels so assuring hearing everybody struggles sometimes. By the way, you make beautiful things. I will keep watching.

Laura, don’t worry about having anything done or perfect for the podcast! I love just hearing your voice and your personality and I was SO excited to see this come up in my subscription box! I haven’t finished the episode but I’m sure it will be wonderful just like the others!

Loved this episode - especially your story of your Mothers sewing triumphs! All your knitting is beautiful. Love the babysitter! Where would we be without them! Sue.x

I would cut the neck at the back, fold the cut in, sew in a binding on the inside so it fits your daughter. It is a beautiful color!

I was born in Yardley Wood and then moved to Redditch, we moved then to Australia. You remind me of my cousin, such a pleasure to watch you. Such a shame about your sweater, you are very talented and knit so quickly that you will finish your pollen sweater to replace it (such a beautiful colour) in no time.

I really enjoy your podcasts. Your style is friendly and natural 😊. I like seeing your projects and it's great that you share what worked and what didn't. Looking forward to the next one.

Those bags your mom made are beautiful! Love the fabric and subdued colors 😍. I made the Felix pullover and it was a bit fiddling with the larger needles, but I just pushed through 😀

Oh my face when you pulled out that poor sweater! I'm surprised the neighbours weren't round I shrieked so loudly! 😱😕

Morning! Another lovely podcast, thanks for sharing. Ask Mum to make your felted Ranunculus into a small sock size project bag for you, I'm sure with an iron-on interfacing it will stabilise the fabric and work well. Look after yourself and happy stitching!

Another awesome podcast I think you must have been a presenter in a past life as you are just a natural. So interesting and so much fun....Your daughter is absolutely adorable - 'cough' LOL Looking forward to the next one already.

So sad about the sweater being washed. Since I'm watching this two years later, I'm sure the project was figured out a long time ago, but I would have made it into a knitting/project bag or purse! I've never knit any socks, but I'm intrigued now to watch your heel video and give it a try after I finish up a few other things! Hopefully, I'll run across the name of the pattern and other details further into these episodes. Your daughter coughing is adorable :)

I think you could steek your shrunken sweater and make it a cardigan or just stick a couple inches on the back and crochet around and make a hook and eye closure. It would look great on her.

Great episode full of lots of knitting goodness. As a fellow midlander, originally from Leicester, who has moved many miles away hearing your accent and sayings is like a warm coming home hug. Please keep them coming. As for what's been tickling my pickle I've been knitting my first gnome from Imagined Landscapes as part of their MKAL. Great fun.

Hi Laura. I love watching your podcast and videos. Its like sitting down with your bff having a knit n natter. I love your confidence. I've been knitting for over a decade but nothing adventurous. Seeing the patterns you have tackled has inspired me to challenge myself more. The Dahlia sweater is on my future makes wish list and today I cast on my first ever pair of socks!! (Crazy sock lady's summer sock camp)
I'm liking forward to seeing the progress you make with your test knit. It looks great. Xx
