'He Taught Us Clear Speech' - Surah Ar Rahman - Nouman Ali Khan

When Allah bestowed the gift of clear speech upon humanity, it encompassed all languages. This divine endowment began when Adam (AS) was sent to Earth. Contrary to being taught a specific language like Arabic or English, Adam (AS) was imparted with a primordial language. This original tongue is believed to be the root from which all other languages have evolved. Thus, language itself is a form of revelation from Allah, a sacred and unifying gift to people.

Subhanallah! Whats also amazing to think about is how humans are the only species of animals whose vocal instruments are designed to create words and human speech! Some animals can make noises, and "talk" in a sense somewhat clearly (like parrots for example), and of course all animals and all living beings have their own amazing communication systems and "languages". But only humans are capable of producing clear distinct sounds and speech, to the point where so many languages developed 😊

I would guess Adam AS language was a large language model (LLM) like what we practice in Generative AI. And that language was the encyclopedia of all the current spoken languages. By time, there was revolution in all these languages as per the networking socializing and many civilization networking
