When you are sensitive to HA and the fucking beauty industry has now ruined every single product by putting it in everything

I also want to defend makeup wipes. No they do not replace washing your face and I know the reasons you are opposed to them, but they are great if you don't have the ability to wash your face, or if you are camping and sweaty and just want to feel less sticky before laying down. They also help get makeup off of toys that can't be washed when your children get into your stuff.

I actually don't agree about the makeup wipes. Washing your face alone doesn't always get rid of all the makeup, especially if it's 24 hr+ long wear makeup. So I like to use the Neutrogena wipes to clean off the makeup and then wash my face

Using makeup wipes is a mental health thing for me. Ik that it doesn’t get rid of all, I can literally feel it on my face but when I come home from work tired, overstimulated, depressed, etc etc then I just use a wipe and go to bed. (Mostly I do cleanse properly tho)

I always hear how those facial scrubs are horrible for your face, but as someone with extremely dry skin to the point where it flakes off when i dont use moisturizer those scrubs help me a lot to take off all the dead skin and leave me feeling smooth and my skin looking bright, if something works for you please dont let the internet convince you into not using it anymore

Nah dont listen to this. Im severely depressed and chronically ill and sometimes the most i can do is wipe my face with a makeup wipe before bed. I keep them in my nightstand. My skin isnt perfect, but it doesnt need to be perfect. Its clean.

I use makeup wipes when traveling. I have noticed that I am prone to stop taking care of my skin in situations like this, so I just came up with more convenient alternatives. What you do every day matters a lot more than what you do sometimes.

I think whatever works for you, works for you. Skin care isn’t a one size fits all. I use scrubs on my face as well as chemical cleansers because I have super dry and flaky skin and it leaves my skin smooth. As for the wipes, I don’t wear makeup often but when I have a good amount on, the wipes work on getting rid of the heavy stuff and then I cleanse.

St ives apricot scrub is one of my favorite products. I have very thick, tough skin and my acne can be deep. Having a rough exfoliant has been an absolute game changer

I'm a St. Ives Apricot Scrub fan from way back. It always made my skin feel soft and look glowy. I use an Olay exfoliating cleanser now. I tried using non-exfoliating cleansers, but my skin always looked dull and flaky. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I buy makeup wipes because I do athletics and horseback riding, so I gotta get the dirt and sweat off before I break out!! Other than that, I completely agree! There are so many useless products that people use nowadays (especially 10 year olds 😭)

Makeup wipes and the like are actually super useful to fight executive dysfunction! Mentally spicy peeps like myself can have a lot of trouble maintining hygiene, so breaking it down into as-small-as-possible steps is important. And being able to just take out a wipe, rub and be done is very helpful for hard days. It's stupid but it works

i actually started using straight up dedicated hyaluronic acid and it helped my acne so much and i mean like i had BAD cystic hormonal acne and i still do but it’s so much less painful and red

The St. Ives apricot acne scrub right next to the normal one you grabbed has been my holy grail since I was 13, NOTHING else worked. And 7 years later my skin looks better than it ever has, thanks to that product.

I don't have to violently exfoliate every time I use it, sometimes it's just a gentle rub, maybe let it sit for a minute or 2, and then rinse it off. Ta da.

I get acne on my back, my shoulders, my hips even, it is literally the only thing that has ever helped with any of it. And it got rid of any scarring or redness I had from how bad my breakouts were before I found it. And that big scar on my forehead from when I was 4? It helped lighten it and soften it so much that people barely even notice it now, despite it still being a big scar.

I refuse to tolerate St. Ives being dragged, all of my favourite body washes are from them. My cousin with eczema? She can use the bodywash and my acne scrub without it flaring up her skin. I always feel clean after and it smells so good.

Makeup wipes and wet wipes saved me when I got two surgeries for crushed collarbone from accident. I had just one functioning hand and especially after first surgery was too sore and too afraid to use a shower or water splash. So I were using wipes, a lot of wipes, on face and on body, to stay clean.

I do drag and cosplay makeup. I’m taking a few layers of makeup off with wipes so my cleansers can really get to the nitty gritty of my face without having to wash several times. They are perfect for getting rid of bulk.

I have heard collagen can't be absorbed through skin and can only be injested to see benefits

What's the difference between Using my celler water on pad and then using a cleansing wipe That has similar ingredients to break down your makeup before you Use a cleanser?

I've gotta defend my wipes. I keep a pack in my tool box because they're great when I'm a greasy, sweaty mess, but I don't feel like taking the time to run to a sink and wash my face and then get right back to working. (Yes, I wash my face when I've finished working.) Also, if I've worn makeup it's just easier for me to use a wipe to break down and loosen my makeup before using a cleanser to was my face. ❤
