Sounds good in theory. Not sure about it in practice. At least for React on the Web, most use Formik and Yup for form and input validation. I'm unaware of any ways to detect the missing @ as the error. The validation only checks if the input meets the HTML standard. The error message is generally set to "Email invalid" instead of being exact about the formatting error.
