If you aren't as thin as our lovely host, (or dont have an extender) i suggest attaching a ribbon to your necklace, tying the bow in the back...

Don’t try this if you don’t have long hair though as the bust of the dress will puff out a bit in the back. We’ve used this wrong way round trick a lot in community theatre costuming but you need to disguise the back somehow usually (cape, shawl, large flounce collar etc)
