I notice that the people who should be offended most are the Vietnamese/Americans with Vietnamese ancestry, yet they are laughing the most. The fact is, this comedienne does a great job at imitating the accent. I used to work with Vietnamese people, and she is very accurate. I loved my coworkers, they were awesome. I think we are getting a little too uptight in this country. Imitating an accent to tell a story exactly as it happened is more effective. I'm sure Anjelah is not actually making fun of the people, but it would be less funny without the entire scene playing out.

And just an fyi, I have no problem with people from other countries laughing about our accents when we speak their languages or come to their country. It's funny! An American speaking French or Spanish with a bad accent is hilarious! We all need to laugh at ourselves.
