I always tell young guys to start weight lifting if they aren't already. The sedentary life will just depress you and eventually kill you if you don't do something about it. Weight lifting is one of the best things you can do for your mental health.

Larry Cullen said it best. "A man must be strong enough to be gentle." Larry Cullen is a Marine and his brother, Peter Cullen, used him as inspiration for the voice of Optimus Prime.

The advice to young men is that society (especially culture and education) DOES NOT have your best interest in mind. Don't trust their advice. It is meant to make the world better for other people, not you.

Best advice I ever got was from my best friends father, who was far more masculine than my own. One day when we were like 11 my friend ran to his mom after his father told him no about something, 10 minutes later he has a sitdown with us and said when we got older "NO ONE IS GOING TO COME SAVE YOU", your mother wont always be there for you. And he was damn right

We don't have to redefine anything. People understood just fine what positive masculinity was before feminism existed. Look at the characters in the LOTR as an example.

I have followed the samurai bushido code as my set of guiding principles for 13yrs. now. To me, masculinity isn't about expressing power or wealth. It isn't about how many women you can pull. It's about being merciful, benevolent, honest, having a high sense of self-control, and having a sense of honor. And not necessarily practicing these traits for others, but for yourself.

Something we really need to acknowledge is that we have a shortage of good people.

You don't produce bad daughters without bad fathers and bad mothers. In turn, we've produced an equally abhorrent generation of young men.

Demand is high for good people, but it feels impossible because the supply is extremely low.

There is also toxic femininity. My mother was a perfect example. Talk about abusive.
I'm proud to be masculine. Most women love masculinity.
To hell with toxic feminism.

The way you described transforming aggression and competitiveness into positive energy resonates with the fundamental attribution error. I’ve seen clients who, when faced with their own aggressive tendencies, assumed they were simply “bad” people, instead of realizing it was how they were channeling their energy that mattered. Once we worked on redirecting that aggression toward personal growth and success, they began thriving. Your focus on using discipline and channeling masculine energy for good is exactly the kind of advice young men need to redefine their path. This video was truly inspiring!

The fact that there's so much content online and so much dialogue around "masculinity" as an "issue" today just tells you how horribly off things are in society. Like, really!? We've come apart so much that this is a subject that needs to be discussed? Wow that's pathetic!

Love the work of this channel though! Glad the conversations are at least happening.

We’ve abandoned traditions and practices that used to provide an outlet to channel youthful male energy into something positive. It’s no wonder so many young men are feeling directionless today.

Watching this mesmerizing video dredges up painful memories of the recent dissolution of my 4 year relationship. The departure of my beloved, the one I adore deeply, has left me in a perpetual state of longing. Despite my tireless attempts at reconciliation, I find myself mired in frustration, unable to shake the persistent thoughts of her. Despite my efforts to move forward, I'm compelled to share my inner turmoil and the overwhelming sense of missing her here .

Many men equate masculinity and strength with working out and lifting weights. However, I would suggest reading Robert's books, as they convey a different message. True healthy masculinity encompasses much more than merely appearing masculine. And that is what modern men are most deficient in.
