I don't consider Alicent's "power moment" to be anything like Sansa, she interrupted her husband's wedding toast to his daughter/her longtime best friend because Rhenerya lied to her in a pretty impossible situation. What did she expect from confronting her about something so sensitive and damaging? Alicent hasn't gone through any of the nightmares that Sansa did, yes it's unfair that she had to marry for political gain but so does Rhenerya- the girl's marrying her gay cousin to make up for her father's mistakes. Sansa watched her father murdered at the command of her fiance, was tormented by Joffery for years, forced to marry the son of the man who murdered her brother and mother, tortured by her husband in her childhood home that had been stolen from her, and forced to physically fight for herself.

Rhaenyra and Daemons conversation is the closest we have ever seen the Dragons dance flirt and provoke each other.

I think Criston Cole killed out of anger because Joffrey threatened his "secret" and over played his hand with a knight who had no intention of being the side piece of the princess. All of Criston's emotions of soiling his white cloak finally snapped and he took out all of his anger at the wedding.

For a moment it looked like Ser Criston was going to squish Joffrey's skull; like the Mountain to the Viper!!

Fun fact: Ser Criston's beating Joffrey was unscripted. The actor just got PTSD flashbacks of the original series' Joffrey and started beating the crap out of the other character with the same name and it was caught on camera. The beating was so severe and brutal they couldn't continue filming so they had to roll with the take and write it in to the story.

The power moment for Allicent wasn't just from wearing green. It was when she called Rhaenyra not by her name but Step Daughter.!!! Whaaaat. Lol

Actually in the book they say "She fell from her Horse and Cracked her skull on a stone" which was a peculiar detail to add still leaving some room for foul play.

Haven’t read the book but glad to hear that Ser Christen killed Laenor’s paramour in a joust rather than just snapping. The way it goes down in the show makes no sense at all.
