Canto 5 honestly broke me. I doubted that Ishmael would really fit in with the others, yet their story and development was quite tear-jerking, as it hit quite personally… Thanks for PM and Ishmael for letting me know there’s a purpose in everyone’s lives, and they must sail towards their dreams and aspirations.

This song holds a special place in my heart. I read some analyses and figured out that one of the messages of Ishmael's chapter was that there's no one thing that defines the meaning of your life, whether it be fitting a mold or something imposed by other people. That was a message I *really* needed to hear then, and it helped me feel better from a long period of yelling at myself.
